in Michigan and Florida was intensely hot, 10 degrees above normal, experiencing high
temperatures two months early. I also discovered the discomfort and pain of being attacked by fire
ants, who leave itchy painful bumps. My left foot looked like it had the measles; but the sunshine
was glorious and the wonder and miracle of flight makes Florida accessible in a short amount of time.
In 3 hours step out of a blizzard and into summer. What a concept!
