We survived reading A Room with a View. The language, the times, the manners, the expectations of society in England 100 years ago, during the dawning of the Edwardian era (so long confining Victorian standards). Next week, the book will be brought to life by the Merchant Ivory movie production. The book may have been challenging, but the movie will be visually inviting.
