Did you know that the Little Free Library originated
in Hudson, Wisconsin in 2009? Todd Bol built the
first little library in honor of his mother's career as
an eduator- it was modeled on a
one-room schoolhouse, and positioned in
his front yard, filled with books. The idea spread
and now Little Free Library is incorporated as a
non-profit, since 2012. From this original vision
from Todd, Little Free Libraries now number
36,000 across the world!!!
