Welcome! It is hoped this blog will keep us connected outside of our monthly book discussions. A place to communicate and share information regarding books. Our time is limited once a month but I want to know what you are reading - what titles do you recommend - please share your book suggestions!

Read THE ROAD TO CHARACTER by David Brooks, a "father's day"gift from my daughter Laura and family (VIRGINIA). His thesis that "we have seen a broad shift from a culture of humility to ...a culture that encouraged people to see themselves as the center of the universe" IS well illustrated by Donald Trump and his supporters. Lives of outstanding people and us "stumblers" are cited as we struggle to turn our weakness into interdependence/joy.
