- Gardens of Awe and Folly: A Traveler's Journey on the Meaning of Life and Gardening by Vivan Swift (2016). Wonderful! A Travel Log, highlighting 7 gardens, with beautiful illustrated watercolors, makes me want to pack my bags and explore........
- Enemy Women by Paulette Jiles (2017). Historical Fiction / Civil War / Missouri / Strong Women. The author also wrote The News of the World which we will be discussing on May 3. (Sue! Look - a book with a strong woman!)
